Senior Citizen Home For 50 BENEFICIARY
Location: NEAR PAHARI KARWI ROAD DISTRICT CHITRAKOOT

SENIOR Citizen Home is being implemented at Location: Sharda Nagar, Pahari Karwi Road district Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh by the Support of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. of India.
Objectives
The main objective of the programmes in the scheme is to improve the quality of life of the Senior Citizens, especially indigent senior citizens by providing basic amenities like shelter, food, medical care and entertainment opportunities and by encouraging productive and active ageing.

INTEGRATED REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR DRUG ADDICTS
Address : 184 Rasoolabad, Prayagraj (IRCA) THIS PROJECT IS BEing implemented by Gramotthan Jan Seva Sansthan with the support of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt of India. OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHEME
Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) provide composite/ integrated services for the rehabilitation of the substance dependent person.
Treatment and all services are totally free in this centre.
IRCA is responsible for preventive education and awareness generation which target groups (vulnerable and at risk groups) in their neighborhood.
IRCA envisages total recovery of the addicted person leading to his socio economic rehabilitation through an appropriate combination of individual counseling.
IRCA also aim to enabling the addict to achieve total abstinence and improve the quality of their lives.
The addict would be helped to overcome the desire to use drugs even when he is in situations which were once tempting
centre which meet the acceptable standards of IRCA delivery are provided accreditation certificates by the independent agency which makes them eligible for continued support from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
TO CREATE AWARNESS AND EDUCATE ILL EFFECTS OF ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE ON THE INDIVIDUAL THE FAMILY THE WORKPLACE AND SOCIETY.
TO PROVIDE MOTIVATION COUNSELLING ,REHABILITATION FOR WHOLE PERSON RECOVERY OF ADDICTS TO MAKE A PERSON DRUG FREE, CRIME FREE.
TO FACILITATE RESEARCH TRAINING DOCUMENTATION AND COLLECTION OF RELEVANT INFORMATION TO STRENGHTEN THE ABOVE MENTIONED OBJECTIVES AND
Community based Peer led Intervention (CPI) for Early Drug Use Prevention among Adolescents FOR District Prayagraj (Supported by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Govt. of India)
Objectives OF THE SCHEME
SENIOR CITIZEN HOMES FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE AT DISTRICT SHARDA NAGAR CHITRAKOOT, UTTAR PRADESH
To assess substance use among adolescents in impoverished & marginalized communities Conduct primary prevention activities through awareness programs ,Engage in risk mitigation of substance use among children/ adolescent/youth by Preventing substance use ·Delaying initiation of substance use Identify and train selected peer educators in the community . Implement early prevention education led by trained peer educators
- b) To provide awareness about referral and linkage to counseling, treatment and rehabilitation servicesfor substance dependent adolescents identified in the community
- Peer educators will focus on creating awareness among the vulnerable population – particularly children in community on prevention of substance use. · The project staffs deliver specific intervention on substance use and ensure linkage for treatment and rehabilitation.
- Peer Educators will provide educational sessions on life skills among children; side-effects of substance use, risk assessment on substance use among adolescents 1.4. Program Activities
- a) Outreach activities in the community among vulnerable children and adolescents
- b) Community Mapping and Assessment
- c) Identification and Training of adolescents as Peer Educators to lead Peer led community intervention
- d) Life skill sessions: particularly designed for prevention of substance use in communities by selected and trained Peer Educators
